Caines agrees new deal
Cheltenham Town central defender Gavin Caines has agreed a new one year contract with the club.
The 23-year old central defender concluded discussions with club chairman Paul Baker today and is set to complete the paperwork on the deal before the weekend.
Caines originally joined Cheltenham Town from Walsall in the summer of 2004 and made his Football League debut for the Robins as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town in League Two on October 1 that year.
He has since made 110 starting appearances, 19 substitute appearances and has scored five goals.
The majority of his appearances have been in the centre of defence, although Gavin has also operated as a striker, midfielder or full-back at different times.
